Laminated glass
Laminated glass in several thicknesses and colours. Laminated glass is made up of 2 layers of glass and 1 or more layers of film between the glasses. The film holds the glass pieces in place in case of breakage. This makes the glass both difficult to get through and very safe for people, as there is no risk of being hit by large pieces of glass if the pane breaks. A laminated glass with the dimensions 44.1 (8.38mm) means that there are 2 pieces of 4mm glass and a layer of foil (0.38mm), this gives a total thickness of 8.38mm. |
